John Jiuliano, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty in hand and upper extremity surgery. He graduated from Georgetown University Medical School in 1991 and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in 2001. He spent time as a general medical officer in Germany and completed three years in a general surgery residency before pursuing orthopaedic surgery. After finishing his commitment to the U.S. Army, he completed the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in 2004. He and his wife moved to Oahu in 2005.
Dr. Jiuliano's subspecialty training has enabled him to care for upper extremity problems, extending from the shoulder to the fingers. His areas of expertise include the management of complex fractures as well as fracture malunions and nonunions, upper extremitycompressive neuropathies (ranging from the brachial plexus to the digits), microvascular repairs and microvascular reconstructiveprocedures, complex bone, tendon, and soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, arthroscopy of the wrist, elbow and shoulder, removal of bone and soft tissue tumors, treatment of arthritis to include osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis as well as ligament reconstructions ofthe fingers, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
In 2017, Dr. Jiuliano was selected by his peers to receive Honolulu Magazine's Top Doctors in Hawaii award.
